I met the founder of the Un Mundo Libre Foundation, Orelso Vitam, through a mutual friend and quickly discovered he was in need of a graphic designer to help out with a logo and some simple branding. He already had some ideas for what he wanted, but someone with a little bit more knowhow and technical skill was needed for the execution.

Creating the logo was an enjoyable challenge. The idea of birds flying outward from the planet earth—being "set free"—was the ask, but proved to be difficult when considering space constraints and legibility. I think the end result appropriately displays independence, freedom, and peace while achieving the technical requirements every logo should.
