I met the founder of the Un Mundo Libre Foundation, Orelso Vitam, through a mutual friend and quickly discovered he was in need of a graphic designer to help out with a logo and some simple branding. He already had some ideas for what he wanted, but someone with a little bit more knowhow and technical skill was needed for the execution.

Creating the logo was a slight challenge. The idea of birds flying outward from the planet earth — being "set free" — was the ask, but proved to be difficult when considering space constraints and legibility. I think the end result appropriately displays independence, freedom, and peace while achieving the technical requirements every logo should.
